Landscapes of Humanity.

The body as mirror of the soul.
'All our inner life and intimacy of soul longs to find an outer mirror. It longs for a form in which it can be seen, felt, and touched. The body is the mirror where the secret world of the soul comes to expression.
Your face is the icon of your life. In the human face, a life looks out at the world and also looks in on itself. One of the oldest words for person is the greek word 'prospon'; which originally meant the mask that actors wore. The face always reveals who you are, and what life has done to you.
Traditionally it is said the eyes are the windows of the Soul.
There is a strange symmetry in the way the soul writes the story of its life in the contours of the face.' Anam Cara
